Our trip starts on June 15 in Philadelphia and during the first two weeks we'll travel by bus through the East Coast of the USA, visiting Philly, Washington DC, New York and Boston.
Another road trip partner will join us in Boston and will stay with us until the very end of this road trip: the car. With it, we will start the new stage of the trip, in which we will be free to make changes to the route even though we have already decided some compulsory stops.
First, we'll drive from Boston to Galway, NY State, where we'll visit Nuria's American family and after that we'll spend some days enjoying the wonders of New England, from where we'll cross the border for the first time to visit the main cities of the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario: Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto.
After this tour through the land of maple leaves and racoons, we¡ll go back to the USA, although after some days and a lot of miles we'll cross the border one more time. Next stop is Chicago, the wind city, and from there we'll start a long way of little more than five days which will take us to Vancouver, Canada, the first city in the West Coast, right after Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and some other stops that will be decided along the way.
After visiting Vancouver, we'll say our last goodbies to Canada and we'll start driving down the West Coast of the USA, stopping in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and finally San Diego, although we will also visit beaches and national parks galore as well as Las Vegas and Grand Canyon.
A total of 64 days, 7500 miles (12000 km), during which we will visit at least 17 states of the USA and 3 Canadian provinces and will travel in four different time zones.
